Smart heating
A smart thermostat, or zoned control with radiator valves, so rooms you are not using are not heated. Heating can follow a schedule, switch off when everyone has gone out, and be turned up from your phone on the way home.
Smart lighting
Smart switches and bulbs with scenes for the evening, the morning and the film. Motion lighting on landings and in hallways. In period properties we use wireless switches that fit the existing back boxes, so there is no rewiring or chasing into plaster.
Blinds, security and the rest
Motorised blinds on a timer, video doorbells and smart locks, door and window sensors, and multi-room audio. All of it controlled from one app, by voice, or by automations that run on their own.
Getting the WiFi right first
A smart home is only as reliable as the network under it. We check the WiFi at the survey and, where it needs it, sort out whole-home WiFi as part of the job, with smart devices kept on their own network.
