Delete your data
How to have us delete what we hold about you
Last updated: 3 November 2026
You can ask Home Hub Smart Solutions Limited to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. This page explains how. It covers everything we hold, including messages and comments you have sent our Facebook Page or Instagram account, and WhatsApp conversations with us.
How to ask
Use whichever is easiest:
- Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data"
- Send "Delete my data" as a message to our Facebook Page, our Instagram account (@homehub.smartsolutions) or our WhatsApp number
- Call us on 01403 626006
- Write to us at 88 Cook Way, Broadbridge Heath, Horsham, West Sussex, RH12 3US
Tell us your name and, if it is a Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp conversation, the name or number you messaged us from, so we can find it. We may need to check it is really you before we delete anything.
What happens next
- We confirm we have your request, normally within two working days.
- We delete your messages, contact details, enquiry notes, photos and anything else we hold about you from our customer system, and remove you from any marketing.
- We confirm in writing once it is done, within one month at the latest, as UK GDPR requires.
There is no charge.
What we may have to keep
If you have been a customer, the law requires us to keep invoices and payment records for six years for tax. We keep only what that requires and delete the rest. If there is an open job, an unpaid invoice or a dispute, we may keep the records needed for it until it is settled, and we will tell you what we are keeping and why.
Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp
Deleting your data from our systems does not delete it from Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp themselves. A conversation also stays in your own app until you delete it there. To manage what Meta holds about you, use the settings in those apps, or remove our business from the apps and websites connected to your Facebook account under Settings and privacy.
Our full privacy policy explains what we collect, why, and for how long. If you are not happy with how we handle your request, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
