Terms and Conditions of Business

1. Definitions

1.1 "We", "Us", or "Our" refers to HomeHub Smart Solutions.
1.2 "You" or "Your" refers to the customer.
1.3 "Goods" refers to the products supplied by Us.
1.4 "Services" refers to the services provided by Us, including installation and maintenance.


2. General

2.1 These terms govern all contracts for the sale of Goods and the provision of Services by Us. By engaging Our Services, You agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2.2 Any variation to these terms must be agreed upon in writing by Us.


3. Orders and Payment

3.1 All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated.
3.2 A deposit is required upon order confirmation. This will be the greater of:

  • The cost of materials; or 50% of the total quoted price.

3.3 Payments can be made via card, bank transfer, or UK sterling.
3.4 Funds must clear prior to work commencing.
3.5 The remaining balance is due immediately upon completion of the Services.
3.6 Failure to pay on time may result in additional charges or suspension of Services.


4. Delivery and Installation

4.1 We will make every effort to meet agreed delivery and installation times, but these are estimates and not guaranteed.
4.2 You must ensure the site is prepared for installation as specified in the pre-installation guidelines.
4.3 We reserve the right to charge for additional costs incurred due to delays or issues outside our control.


5. Warranty

5.1 We offer a 12-month warranty on all Goods and Services provided.
5.2 The warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults arising from installation by Us.
5.3 The warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect, or external factors (e.g., power surges or water damage).
  • Third-party interference or modifications.
  • Wear and tear or consumable parts.

5.4 If a fault arises within the warranty period, You must notify Us immediately. We will repair or replace defective parts at Our discretion.

5.5 The warranty is non-transferable and valid only for the original purchaser.


6. Cancellations and Returns

6.1 If You wish to cancel an order, You must notify Us in writing within 14 days of order confirmation.
6.2 Cancellation fees may apply for custom-made Goods or Services already provided.
6.3 Goods must be returned in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of cancellation, and You will bear the cost of return postage unless the Goods are faulty.


7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from the use or inability to use the Goods or Services.
7.2 Our maximum liability is limited to the value of the Goods or Services provided.
7.3 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes Our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.


8. Privacy and Data Protection

8.1 We comply with all relevant UK data protection laws, including the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.
8.2 Your personal data will only be used for processing orders, providing Services, and improving Our offerings.

9. Governing Law

9.1 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
9.2 Any disputes shall be resolved under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
